According to Rochdale Online, RBH has secured funding to improve the energy efficiency in Smallbridge. This follows a successful collaborative bid between Greater Manchester Combined Authority for the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and Greater Manchester Housing Providers (GMHP), with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) being given £160k to cater for the energy efficiency of homes in Rochdale. The funding will be utilized to improve the energy efficiency of 16 RBH homes in Smallbridge. In a statement by RBH Director of Growth, they are working with tenants at 23 homes in Smallbridge to upgrade their home's energy efficiency and fabric. The funding will help people get moving straight away with another 16 homes.
